Slow day but Ovenbird and Chat

As expected, it was a much slower day of banding with 22 new birds and 16 recaptures of 12 different species.  The winds are supposed to shift from the SE to the NE after midnight so maybe we will have a few more birds tomorrow.  Highlights from today included an Ovenbird and a Yellow-breasted Chat. It has been several weeks since we have banded either one.
