September 14, 2014

Conditions were ideal for mist netting this morning with overcast skies and little to no wind making our nets nearly invisible but sadly the overnight conditions were poor for migration.  Today we ended up with 21 new birds and 7 recaptures made up of 9 species.  The weather conditions for tonight look slightly more favorable with winds from the north but rainy conditions may discourage migrants.
