October 2, 2014

Whoops, this banding assistant fell asleep without updating the blog last night! So here are yesterday's results. Yesterday was considerably slower than Thursday, we caught 56 birds (41 of which were gray catbirds!) and 12 recaptures from 12 different species. While we did not have any new or noteworthy species of bird yesterday, we did see four different bobcats at the station, what appeared to be a female and her three kittens. It looks like Aaron will have some radio-collaring to do!
