Late November Yellow-billed Cuckoos

CAPTAIN SAM'S

Another solid day of banding out on the spit with 39 new birds and 31 recaptures of 9 different species.  The highlight of the day was 2 Yellow-billed Cuckoos and a Field Sparrow.  The cuckoos are somewhat late although there have been many late migrants being seen around SC this year.

Tomorrow is the last day of the 2018 fall migration banding season.  It has been a grueling season and my feet are ready for a break.
