CAPTAIN SAMS
This morning started out with a bit of a chill in the air and as the day went on, the chill got a little more chillier. Tomorrow morning will be even colder and may dip into the upper 30s.
After yesterday's high winds and lack of birds, we did a little better today with 28 new birds and 13 recaptures. A flock of 10 Yellow-rumped Warblers in net 2 on the third net run helped us out. We also banded our 7th Eastern Towhee and the first one in over a month.
Tomorrow is the last day of the 2024 fall migration season.
