A rainy day won't stop us!

 Captain Sam's:

Today was a unique day. Aaron started out the day holding out with a few nets in between the rain. Once it was passing, Brendan and I worked our way down the beach to Captain Sam's. I wasn't expecting as many birds but we totaled out to 41 birds. 6 of them being recaptured and 32 newly banded. I was nice to get to go back down to Captain Sam's and hearing/catching more birds than a typical 20 bird day. I was also really happy to see a late Black-throated Blue Warbler! It was not thrilled on being caught and wouldn't sit nicely for a photo but it was great to admire that beautiful bird. I'm hoping as my days are dwindling down, we catch a few more species to add to our list.

There are some species that we still need to add to our list but with some time I think they will eventually find our nets!
