Rain Shortened Morning

We were forced to close nets at 9:45 am due to rain.  Before the rain though, we had 6 new birds and 4 recaptures of 5 different species.  We banded two Worming-eating Warblers and 1 Ovenbird; both species we haven't seen in over a week - so it seems some birds are beginning to stir.  The weekend is looking to be raining, especially Sunday.  Hopefully we will be able to get out, for a least a little while.
