Today started out extremely foggy and wet with little wind. The nets were drenched and difficult to open, and it took them a couple of net rounds before they dried out.
We banded 36 new birds and had 14 recaptures of 11 different species. It was a typical late November day with typical late November birds. Ever species we captured today could be considered a "winter resident" although some of them are probably still migrating south.
