Lots of water but still some birds!

Captain Sam's

Today was a crazy day! We managed to open up some of our nets after the rain stopped this morning. The tides were high and we had to walk through water that was almost up to our knees! We did manage to capture 8 new birds and recaptured 6. The most birds captured today were Gray Catbirds. Hopefully the storms pass through quickly and we can get back to banding more birds.

Little Bear

We were not able to run the Little Bear banding station again this morning due to high winds. We hope to get back out there by Friday once Hurricane Michael pushes through the area.
